Here's what's going on in our lives (if you care):

September 2004

9-27-04: Good afternoon. Happy Monday to everyone. Hope everyone had a good week. Ours was pretty uneventful. Friday night, we had our small group over, ate, played games, and watched a movie. Saturday, we slept in, which was very nice. I went to the gym, and then watched some football. We started doing Hollie’s Mary Kay inventory, and then took a break for me to go play poker, and for Hollie to baby sit. Yesterday we went to church, then to lunch, then Hollie had a wedding shower to go to. That’s about it. We are flying to Lubbock this weekend for Hollie’s friend Jessica’s wedding. That will be fun. Other than that, nothing too exciting. Hope everyone has a great week. See you next Monday.

9-20-04: Good morning. I hope everyone had a good weekend. Ours was pretty uneventful. Friday we had small groups. We were supposed to go to College Station this weekend, but we decided not to, and just watched the game at Amy and Brett’s Saturday. Hollie’s mom was in town this weekend, and we ate lunch in McKinney with her, Bucky, Pam, and the kids to celebrate Bucky’s birthday. Yesterday we went to church, went grocery shopping, then came home and I relaxed as Hollie did work around the kitchen (yes, I am a lazy husband). That’s about it. Not too exciting. Oh yeah, Tuesday I performed at the PTA meeting as the cowboy of the “It Takes a VILLAGE PEOPLE.” The pic is here. Have a great week. See you next Monday.

9-14-04: Good morning. Sorry this update is on Tuesday, but I was really busy yesterday. The past week has not been too eventful. We stayed home most of Saturday and watched the UT game. Sunday we spent the day in Allen watching football too. I had my first softball game of the season last night, which we lost in the last inning. Other than that, nothing to exciting is going on. I think we are going to College Station to the a & m game this weekend. Amy went to Clemson, and that’s who they are playing, so we are gonna go. I think I will be cheering more against the aggies than cheering for Clemson. Oh well, that’s about it. Hope everyone is doing well. See you next week.

9-7-04: Good morning everyone. I hope you had a great holiday weekend. We did. Last week flew by. We spent most of it working, and preparing for our trip. We left Friday afternoon to go to the Guadalupe River with a group from LCU like we do every year. We got there around 10:15 and set up camp. The rest of the group got there the next morning. Saturday, we floated the Comal River. The next day, we did a 5 hour float on the Guadalupe, which was a lot of fun, but long. Most of us got sun burned, but we still had a good time. Yesterday, we got up, packed up camp, and went home. We stopped in Waco on the way to see Hollie’s mom’s new house. Last night, we unpacked, and just relaxed. It is good to be back home in our own bed! This week is going to be busy, since it is short, so I better get going. The pics of our trip are HERE. Have a good week.
