This is the day the LORD has made;  let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Thank you God for giving us this day to enjoy. Don't let us forget that you give us everyday, and let us glorify you everyday and thank you for what you do for us.

5-15-06:

Ephesians 1:3 (The Message)

How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He's the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him.

God, let us live our lives everyday giving glory to you. Let other people see you in our lives, and come to know you based on our actions. Thank you for everything you do.

5-8-06:

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

Thank you Lord for the friends you have blessed us with early on in our marriage. You have given us a church that is loving, a small group that is genuine, and friends that are selfless. Let us repay you by showing the same kind of compassion to others.

I am just going to copy the prayer that my dad sent me yesterday since it is pretty fitting for the occasion.

Dear Father,

I pray for those You have placed under my care.

That You would bring hope where there is despair,

joy where there is sadness,

peace where there is strife,

and faith where there is doubt.

Bless them with health, wealth and long life.
