10-27-08: Happy Monday morning to everyone. I want to apologize for my lack of updates lately. I promised myself a long time ago I would never let myself become lazy with this blog. I don't know if I would say I am really lazy, but just very busy. Anyway, no excuses. I have a ton of pics and a video to add, but I will wait until next week so I can do all of our Halloween pics at once. Penn had his first real meal last week, which was funny. Hobs is doing good, we had a birthday party yesterday at the Little Gym, which was interesting. We have all been to 2 different Fall festivals, so that is where most of our pics are coming from. We also had family pictures, as well as Penn's 6 month pics done Saturday, so it has been a busy last couple of weeks. Furthermore, I have a very time-intensive situation at work that has been all but consuming me from 7:30 - 3:10 each day, so I have not had much time at lunch, or any kind of breaks in my day, so that is the reason for my in-communicado as of late. Anyway, that is what our lives have been for the past 3 weeks, in a nutshell at least see you all next week.
10-6-08: Good afternoon everyone. I hope you all had a good weekend, ours was awesome! We went to a ranch in central Texas with 2 other couples and their families. We had such a great time. It was awesome just to hang out with friends and relax. The kids had a great time too. Hobs was excited to see chickens, horses, deer, etc. We all hung out at the ranch house, had a fire, made smores, played Wii, watched football, ate like pigs (something I don't need a vacation to do), and slept late. We came back late yesterday. We are tired, but loved it. The ranch was about 150 acres, and they had trails throughout the entire property, so we all too turns on the converted golf cart (or tractor as the kids called it) going all over the place. Anyway, I posted our pics HERE, enjoy. That's about it for now, sorry for not updating last week, I didn't have a computer Monday, and didn't think about it the rest of the week until I was laying in bed at 1 AM most mornings. Oh yeah, all of Penn's tests came back, and he is fine! What an answered prayer that was.
