10-22-07:
Colossians 3:12 Please help us to want to be like you. Help that to be all that we think about. Let us be consumed by wanting to live a life that mimics you.
10-15-07: How great you are, O Sovereign LORD! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears. God, help us to always remember to praise you for everything. Help us to always remember you are the one that provides everything for us, and help us to always give you the credit.
10-8-07: Isaiah 62:6b-7a Take no rest, all you who pray. Give the LORD no rest… God, help us always to come to you for everything. Help us to remember to ask you first, and every time we need or want anything. Help us to always remember to thank and praise you.
10-1-07: Matthew 5:11-12 (The Message) Not only that—count yourselves blessed every time people put you down or throw you out or speak lies about you to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and they are uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—give a cheer, even!—for though they don't like it, I do! And all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company. My prophets and witnesses have always gotten into this kind of trouble. Please bless us when other people don't see what we see. Help us to react in a way that shows you, and not in a way that stoops to their level. Help us to be strong in a world that thinks we are idiots.
