10-23-07: Hello. Don't have a lot of time, so it will have to be brief. We went to Austin this weekend for the UT game, it was fun. We will have all the Halloween pics up next week, so be sure and check back. that's it for now, sorry.
10-22-07: We had a good weekend. My parents came into town last Tuesday night, so that was fun. Hobs got to hang out with them, which he loves. Thursday night we all went to Peter Piper Pizza for a fundraiser for his school, and he had a blast. I put some of those pics below. Friday, I had a field trip to the pumpkin patch that morning, then Hollie, Hobs, and my parents met me there that afternoon (I took that afternoon off, so don't worry, your tax dollars didn't fund our trip). Hobs was a little cranky, but had fun. I put the pics HERE. Anyway, that is about it for now. See you next week.
10-15-07: Hello again. Apparently it is the end of the world. I felt like Noah driving into work, except I was in a Volvo, not an ark. Anyway, hopefully everyone had a good weekend. Ours was fun. Saturday we went to the fair, which was tiring and crowded, but fun. Going to the fair always makes you feel better about your lot in life. Spending the day out there makes me realize that I don't wear enough sleeveless shirts in public. They just look so comfortable. I will have to look into that. Also, nothing says class quite like a camouflage hat with a confederate flag on it, over which is the # 8 and the words "legends never die." Wow, we do live in an upscale society. Anyway, it was a good time. I put some pics of the fair, and the train ride to the fair HERE. That is about all we did over the weekend. As most of you know already, we are having another baby. This one will come sometime in the spring. So, needless to say, we are very excited. That is about all for now, thanks for reading
10-8-07: Hey everyone. Today is a great day, mainly because we are all home. I am off work today for Fair Day, but we aren't actually going to the fair until this weekend. This past weekend was good. Saturday morning we went to a place by Penny's house for a fall festival kind of thing. It was fun, and free (which is always a plus). Anyway, Hobs had a good time there. We took some pics of it, plus some other random pics of him and put them HERE. That afternoon I watched the UT game, which didn't turn out so well, but it was expected, so it was somewhat bearable. That night we hung out with Mike and Katie, then went to bed. Yesterday we went to church, then had a brunch for a guy Hollie used to work with that is getting married, so Hobs got to play with some other kids his age, which I think he enjoyed, at least somewhat. Other than that, nothing too interesting going on. I have class tonight, so I guess I better start getting my stuff together. See you next week, enjoy the pics.
10-1-07: I am afraid I have absolutely nothing of interest to say. It was a very uneventful week. Hobs has started using two-word sentences. His favorite is "watch Einsteins," which, of course, refers to Little Einsteins. Others include "grapes please," "again, please," "more, please." I am glad that our kid at least has manners (better than most of the kids I come into contact with at least). Of course, most of these sentences require the use of a highly trained translator, but hey, at least we know what he's saying. That is about it for now. If you have any requests for what you want in next week's update, feel free to click below and let us know. Adios.
