Here's what's going on in our lives (if you care): |

10-25-04: Good Monday morning. I hope everything is going well for
everyone. Our week has been ok. Not too much happened last week. Friday
night we went to dinner with Amy and Brett in McKinney, then came home and
watched TV. It was nice just to relax. Saturday morning, I decided to give
our flowerbeds an extreme makeover. They were getting pretty white trash,
and we got a “friendly reminder” from the Homeowners Association about grass
growing in them. I tore out all the grass and weeds, cut back the monkey
grass, then re-mulched with pine mulch and bark. I wish I would have taken
pictures; it was a pretty dramatic change. Now we don’t feel quiet as ghetto
when we drive up and see the front of our house as we used to. Anyway, after
that, we cleaned the house some. Randy and Shelley came over and we cooked
out, then watched the Longhorns slaughter those dirty red raiders of tech.
It was greatness!! Yesterday, we went to church, then came home, ate, and I
watched football while Hollie reorganized the kitchen. We went to small
groups last night, then came home. We are preparing for our big Halloween
party next weekend. I am excited, it should be fun. My update may be a
little late next week since I will probably have a lot of pictures to post.
Oh well, see you then. 10-19-04: Good
morning all. Not much going on in our lives. I was sick yesterday with a
stomach bug, so I was out of the office. Last weekend we went to Waco, then
Brett and I went to the UT game, which we won. We got back Sunday night,
which was when I started to feel bad. Mom and Dad were supposed to come in
Monday, but decided to steer clear of the hotbed of stomach germs. We were
supposed to go to Lubbock this weekend for the UT/Tech game, but we didn’t
get our tickets in time, so we are gonna have to watch it on TV, which may
end up being a good thing. Hollie got a job at Pottery Barn for evenings and
weekends through the holidays. She went to orientation last night, and will
start sometime in the next week or so, so she is excited about that. That is
about all for now. Hope everyone is doing well. See you next Monday. 10-13-04: Sorry, I'm
sick and really busy this week, no time for a big update. All is well, talk
to you Monday. 10-4-04: Good morning, and happy Monday morning to everyone. It is a rainy, dark, windy day here. I love this weather! It is supposed to be like this all week. I just hope it clears up by Saturday, because it’s TEXAS – ou weekend!! I got my tickets this weekend, and am ready for the game! Anthony and Peiper will be here this weekend as usual for the game. This past weekend, we went to Lubbock for Jessica’s wedding. It was nice, but a short trip. We got to see family and some friends. This week we are just working, and getting the house ready for company this weekend. Special Olympics starts tomorrow, so I will be going to help the kids bowl every Tuesday this month, which is always an experience. That is about all that is new with us. I will see you all next week, and hopefully be in a great mood due to a Texas win. HOOK ‘EM HORNS!!
