Here's what's going on in our lives (if you care):

11-28-05: Good morning. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Ours was very good. We have had a very busy last couple of weeks. The Friday before Thanksgiving, we flew to Lubbock to go to a wedding of one of my friends. We had a really good time there, and got to see some people we haven't seen in a while. We flew back Sunday evening (after a nice long delay thanks to American . . . what a shock). We immediately unpacked, and repacked to leave Monday to go to Waco. We originally intended to leave early that morning after Hollie's Dr.'s appointment, but Hollie's boss offered to take us to lunch at the grand opening of a restaurant, so we couldn't turn down free food. We ended up getting to Waco around 4:00 or so. I spent the rest of the evening converting Penny's basement into a media room with her new projector and screen. I made a couple trips to Best Buy to get some wires and cords, and finally finished up around midnight, just in time for the annual viewing of "Christmas Vacation." The next day we just hung out and played with the kids. Wednesday, we went down to Hollie's dad's house. Hollie cooked Thanksgiving dinner that night, and the next morning. We packed up a plate and took it to Hollie's Grandma at the nursing home Thanksgiving morning, then came back and had lunch with Wayne and Hollie's aunt Cat. We went back to Waco that evening and had Thanksgiving Dinner round 2 with the rest of the family. The rest of the week was spent hanging out, getting fat (fatter), watching the Cowboys blow it, the Longhorns almost blow it, and watching movies until 2:00 every morning. We came home yesterday and just crashed. We weren't really ready to come back to work today, but oh well, we didn't have a choice. Have a good week, we will see you later. 11-17-05: Hello again, I know it has been a few weeks. I apologize for the lengthy time off, but I ran into some big problems updating the site, which led to the eventual complete overhaul of this thing. I hope everyone likes the new layout, hopefully it will be better. It gives me a lot more flexibility with the site. Speaking of, if there is anything else you would like added to this site that is not currently on here, feel free to let me know. Anyway, we went to the Dr. this morning, and (as most of you already know), we are having a boy!! We are both really excited. Oh well, better run. I will be out of town all next week for Thanksgiving, so I probably won't get the site updated.

 

11-1-05: Good morning. Sorry this is coming a day late, but we had an in-service day yesterday and I didn’t have time to get it updated. We had a nice weekend. Friday night, we had small group. Saturday, we got up early, and went shopping most of the day. We went to several stores to go crib shopping. After that, we went to get Hollie’s car washed. We then met Shelley and Emma for lunch. Finally, we thought it would be a good idea to go to IKEA on a Saturday. A mistake we won’t be making again for a while. Sunday, we went to church and taught class. Then we went home, ate lunch, and laid around for a while, enjoying our last weekend home for a month. This coming weekend, Hollie is meeting up with some college friends in Waco, and I am going to Waco for the UT/Baylor game (we are both going to Waco, but in 2 different cars and at 2 different times, ugh!). The weekend after that, we are flying to Lubbock for a friend’s wedding. The weekend after that we will be somewhere for Thanksgiving, then the weekend after that I (hopefully) will be in Houston for the Big XII championship game. Not really looking forward to all the traveling, but oh well. That’s about all for now, have a good week.
