November 2004

11-29-04: Good morning, welcome back everyone.
It was a great holiday. We flew to Lubbock last Tuesday. Wednesday we drove
to Hobbs to have Thanksgiving with my sister and her family. We played games
that night, and just hung out. Thursday, my (Stephen’s) mom and dad came,
and we all ate until we popped, then played some more games. We drove back
Thursday night to Lubbock. Friday, we watched Texas whip the aggies, at a
big lunch, and then flew home that night.

Check back later today, or tomorrow, because I will probably have some more
pics up. This is just what we had with our camera. I will try to get some of
the other family’s pics and post them later. We got home around 11:30, then
stayed up till 4:00 putting up X-mas stuff. We continued with the Christmas
decorations for the rest of the weekend. I put the lights on the house,
while Hollie did most of the decorating inside. Most of it is done, just a
few more little things. Finally, I am finally in the big screen TV club!! It
is what Hollie and I gave each other for Christmas (I got the best end of
the deal here I think). She’s a beauty. We picked it up Saturday night. The
TV sat and taunted me in my living room all of Saturday night, and
yesterday. I finally got 2 of my neighbors to help us lug it upstairs. I
couldn’t resist posting a pic. Have a good week everyone! Talk to you next

11-15-04: Good morning
everyone, hope your weekends all went well. Our’s was pretty relaxing. My
(Stephen) parents came in town Thursday. Friday we just relaxed and watched
a movie. Saturday we got up, and went garage sale shopping in our
neighborhood. We then watched UT play a terrible game and barely win against
Kansas. We went to the movie after that and say “Friday Night Lights,” which
was good. Sunday, we got up, went to church, then came home and relaxed/did
laundry all afternoon. We watched a movie last night, then just crashed.
This is my last week of school before Thanksgiving, so I probably won’t do
another update for 2 weeks. We are flying to Lubbock next Tuesday, so I
should have some pictures of the family to post when I get back. Until then,

morning. Hope you all had a great weekend. We went down to Hollie’s parent’s
house this weekend, then Brett and I went to the Longhorn game on Saturday
night, where we witnessed the GREATEST
COMEBACK IN UT FOOTBALL HISTORY.
It was greatness! Yesterday we came home, and had small groups last night.
This week is pretty busy at work, so we don’t have huge plans. My
(Stephen’s) parents are coming in this weekend, so we are just going to
clean house to prepare for them. That about all. Talk to you next week.
11-1-04: Happy November to everyone. Hope everyone had a great Halloween. We had a great weekend!! Friday night we had some of the ministers and their families out for dinner with our small group. It was a really good time. Saturday night, we had an AWESOME Halloween party! We had about 20 people over, and really enjoyed it. The pics are HERE. Yesterday, I went to the Cowboy's game with some friends, and got to sit in a luxury box, which was nice, especially since they won. Hollie worked at the Fall Festival at church last night. When we got home, we had a couple of late trick-or-treaters, but mostly just sat and watched TV. That’s about all. See you next Monday.
