5-24-04: Ok, I've already done the update once, but some how I erased,
it, so being that this is my second time to do it, it will probably be a
little shorter. On that note, happy Monday evening. We had a pretty plain
weekend. Friday, after work, we went to dinner with Mike and Katie.
Actually, we hung out with Mike and Katie pretty much the whole weekend, so
I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't sick of us by now. Anyway, we went
to dinner, then to see Shrek 2 Friday night. The movie was great, I highly
recommend it. Saturday, we got up, I worked out while Hollie ran some
errands, then we cleaned house some, and had Jessica, Mike, and Katie over
to watch a movie. Sunday, after church, we had a capital campaign lunch at
Southfork Ranch, which was pretty cool. After that, we went to (guess who)
Mike and Katie's. After small groups last night, we just went home and hung
out. That is about it for the weekend. This is my last week of school before
Summer, which is great! I am doing Summer School, but it is still nice to
have this year over with. Only 6 more days till we leave for Hilton Head! I
am so excited. I am just ready to get away for a little while and do nothing
but golf and relax on the beach. Since I will be gone next week, I won't
update the site until the next Monday (6/7), but be sure and check back
then, because I should have a ton of new pics from the trip. Anyway, hope

Good morning. Hope everyone is doing well. We had a fast and furious
weekend. We had a party on Friday night for some people we know to kick off
the Summer. The pics are
here. Saturday, I
went the the Byron Nelson golf tournament with Brett, while Hollie decorated
for Amy's bridal shower, and that night we went to a youth group thing at
church and tie-dyed t-shirts, which was interesting. Yesterday we went to
church, then Hollie went to the shower while I got the fun job of cleaning
the kitchen (which I put off long enough for Hollie to help me when she got
home). I am going to Summer Camp with the 5th grade from school tomorrow,
and will be gone through Wednesday, so that will be fun, I think. That is
about all I can think of for now. Just really, really looking forward to our
vacation that leaves in 2 WEEKS!! I am just ready for a break. Oh well, I
hope you all have a good day. See ya. 5-10-04: Hello everyone. Sorry I missed last week's update. I am sure the few of you who actually read this already know, but we miscarried last week. So, I really didn't have a lot to say on the update. It has been a sad 2 weeks, but I guess life goes on. Anyway, enough of that. May is here, so Summer is not far a way. I cannot wait until we go on vacation (3 more weeks!). It will be so nice to get a way for a while, and do nothing. We are having a lot of work people over to the house Friday night for a party, so we are desperately getting the house in shape. Penny and I did some landscaping, and closed in part of our flower bed. I installed all the new porch lights outside. I will paint the balcony door tonight, and again tomorrow night, and then do the lawn Thursday. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate. We went to Waco this weekend to have Hollie's grandma's 90th birthday party, which was nice. We actually left Saturday night, after our niece's gymnastics recital, and came back to Dallas last night, so the trip was fast. Nothing really interesting is going on other than that. We are just getting ready for Summer. I am teaching Summer school, so it's not like I am getting a huge vacation, but it is only half days, so that will be a nice break. Oh well, sorry the update wasn't too exciting. We will hopefully have some pictures of our party up next week, so be sure and check back. See ya'll later.
