Here's what's going on in our lives (if you care):

March 2007

3-26-07: Hello again everyone. It seems like forever since I have posted anything with actual substance (if I have ever posted anything with substance). Sorry, the past 2 weeks have been a little hectic. Anyway, Hobs is definitely feeling better. It only took us a trip to the ER and a trip to the Dr. to get him better. He ended up losing a little over a pound, but seems to be ok now. Things are going good. We finally got the house set up for the most part, so we have been able to relax a little. Hobs has been spending a lot of time at the part lately, which is great. That kid can swing for hours on end. I will get some new pics up next week.

Anyway, the rest of this rambling will be dedicated to classy people. I have come into contact with some extra classy people who have really amazed me lately, so I just wanted to share my thought and experiences with the masses who read this and live vicariously through my awesome life.

Classy person numero uno: This is dedicated to the father at my school who treats teachers with that extra bit of respect that we all look for in a parent. Friday morning, one of my coworkers (a female) was driving into the parking lot at school (this is an elementary school for those who might now know). The driveway is one way, so she was driving along, going the right way. Well, this joker pulled into the parking lot the wrong way, and instead of yielding the right-of-way to my friend, he decided to speed up and slam on his brakes, laying on the horn at the same time. She rolled down her window and said "sir, this is a one way on school days." To this, he politely retorted "I don't give a s***. Move your f***ing car you f***ing b****." I am sure his kindergarten son who was riding shotgun really gained a great deal of respect for that teacher through his dad's Godly influence.

Class act #2: I was again at school, working the car pool line in the morning. Well, this parent drives on up to drop their daughter off (again, a 6 year old). I was bouncing to his music (doesn't everyone love the song "Do your Chain Hang Low?") and admiring his spinning rims and fake bullet holes in the side of his car. In fact, he was so noticeable that we had to block off the car pool line for 5 minutes after he left. Was this because everyone loved his car so much that they were in awe of it and could not bring themselves to drive their much cheaper, run down cars? As hard as it is to believe, no, that was not the reason. The reason we had to shut down car pool line is that when his little girl opened the door to get out, she was accompanied by some half-full bottles of Bud Light that fell out onto the ground and started spilling. This nice family decided they were going to do their best to clean up their mess by driving off immediately, crushing the bottles of beer as they drove away. Cleaning up someone else's broken, half-full beer bottles is a great way to start the day. I prefer coffee in the morning, but hey, maybe this guy needs an extra pick-me-up to start his hard day of unemployment. Idiot.

Anyway, hope everyone has a good week. See ya later.

Oh, by the way. If you are looking for some good teen porn, just go to my guest book and read over your choices provided by the wonderful spammers who love my site almost as much as you do. I deleted them all, but take heart, it is only a matter of time before they hack it again. Enjoy.

3-21-07: Ok, sorry for this, but I don't really have time for a full update this week. I have been out the last 1 1/2 days because Hobs has been really sick. He has the flu really bad and has been throwing up since Saturday. I am swamped at work and home, so I will do better next week, I promise!

3-12-07: Good morning. Nothing really going on this week, we are on spring break, so that is nice. Hobs is getting over the flu, but is doing ok. Other than that, nothing really to report. That's about it. Off to work on the house. Sorry for the short update, I will be better next week.

3-6-07: Sorry this is coming a day late. I had a really busy day yesterday and didn't get time to sit down and write anything. Honestly, this last week has been fairly uneventful. I had a my first stats test last week. I made a "B," which I was not too pleased about, but it was still well above the class average, so I guess that is ok. Hobs had his surgery Friday, which went perfectly He was back to being himself that afternoon. He has been pretty good since then. He didn't feel real good Sunday morning at church, but after that he was fine. Hollie is doing a little better, still really tired. She is working 1/2 days this week, so she will be able to go home and sleep in the afternoons. I had a conference in Dallas Saturday, so that pretty much shot our weekend to crap. I am in the process of trying to find a faculty member to teach a graduate class with this summer, so hopefully that will not be a chore. Otherwise, things are pretty calm in our house. That's about it for now. Hollie got a really nice new camera (notice I said Hollie, because I am not really allowed to touch it) and she has been getting some really good pics of Hobs whenever they go to the park, so I will try to get those up next week. See you all later, thanks for reading.
