Here's what's going on in our lives (if you care):

3-29-05: Good morning. I know the update is a lot later than usual, but I have been having some serious problems with the site. I am very frustrated because it seems all the pics are messing up, and I am having to redo the whole picture section. So, if you have any problems looking at pictures, please email me ASAP so I can know about and fix them. I know there are some, which will hopefully be fixed by the end of the week. Anyway, Jamaica was GREAT!! Neither of us were ready to come home. We had an awesome room, and an awesome time. We left Monday morning, and ended up getting to the resort Monday night around 7:30. We went to the beach party the first night and had a great time. The next day we snorkeled and, just hung out on the beach. I played beach volleyball that afternoon, and managed to break my little toe (turned a nice shade of black), but it wasn’t a big deal. That night, we went to dinner, and met a really cool couple from Minnesota. We ended up missing out name being called, so we had dinner with them, and ended up talking to them until about 2:30 in the morning. The next day, we laid around by the pool, and were really lazy. We had a dinner that night for the return Sandals guests, which was nice. The next day, we snorkeled again, twice. We packed that afternoon, and went to dinner that night. Then we just slept in the hammocks until about 11:00, then went to bed. The next day, we had to drag ourselves to the airport to leave, which was very hard to do. We really enjoyed ourselves, and can’t wait to go back. All of the pictures are HERE. I tried for about 4 hours to caption the pics of the trip, but it kept crashing the whole site, so sorry, there aren't any captions. Anyway, Hollie is headed off to Vegas for a business trip next week, so that will stink not having her around all week. Other than that, not too much going on in the next week or so. Still recovering from life back at work. Oh well, have a good week, see you Monday.
 

3-14-05: Good morning, and happy Monday to everyone. We had a busy weekend. We (Hollie, Hollie’s mom, and I) flew out Friday night to Odessa for Hollie’s 2nd cousin’s wedding. We got there and visited with Hollie’s aunt and uncle, as well as her cousin until late. Well, actually, they all visited, and I passed out in the chair until 5:30 AM. Saturday we went to the wedding, which was really nice. After helping clean, we all went out to dinner with a lot of the family. Yesterday, we went to church, then out to lunch with the family. We flew home last night. We had a really great time, and it was good to see family that we don’t see that often. We took a ton of pics. They are posted HERE. Hollie’s mom is staying with us through Tuesday to drive Hollie home from her surgery tomorrow. Hollie is a little anxious, but I know she will do great. After that, it is Jamaica!! We are so excited. We leave a week from today. My sister will be house-sitting for us. We will stay for 4 nights, and be back that Friday. We won’t be in town next week, so I won’t update the page until the 28th, but I should have plenty of pics by then. Hope you all have a great week. See you in 2 weeks.
 

3-7-05: Well, it is actually Tuesday, not Monday. Sorry for not updating the site on time, but yesterday was insane at work. I hope everyone’s weekend went well. Ours was fast. Friday night, we had dinner with some friends from college in Southlake. Saturday morning, I had a conference in downtown Dallas early, and Hollie didn’t feel well, so she stayed in bed most of the day while I was at my conference. That night I played poker with some of the guys from church. Sunday, Hollie still didn’t feel well, so she stayed home while I went to church that morning. I came home, and we just hung out until small groups that night. After that, we just crashed. Not a too terribly exciting weekend. This coming weekend we are flying to Odessa for Hollie’s 2nd cousin’s wedding. We leave Friday night and come back Sunday night. Then, it’s only one more week ‘til Jamaica!! We can’t wait. See you all next week.
