Here's what's going on in our lives (if you care):

March 2004

3-29-04: Good morning everyone. There isn't a whole lot new going on this week. We had a very nice weekend at home. My (Stephen) parents were in town, so we just stayed at the house and watched a horrific weekend of Longhorn basketball. Oh well, we can't win them all. I worked in the yard a good part of the day Saturday. Yesterday we went to church, and had brunch with some friends afterwards. Hollie went to a baby shower after that, and I went and played golf with some of the guys. Don't ask me what I shot, because I won't tell you.

The people across the street just moved in, and we visited with them for about 30 minutes last night. They seem very nice. It will be nice to have neighbors that actually come out of there house and see the light of day for a change. We are going out to dinner tonight with some friends, then I have a football game tomorrow night. Other than that, our week is not too eventful. My arms feel like jello today because I had a really long workout this morning, but I still managed to leave the house on time. However, it still took me an hour and 25 minutes to get to work this morning. Very frustrating. I have to find a new way to work. Other than that, life is good. I posted some new pictures early this morning, most of them of family, so be sure and check out the PICS page. Well, I am off to get some work done, have a good week!

3-22-04: Good afternoon, I got to this a little later than planned, due to me forgetting that I had a presentation at UTA this morning. So after a short heart attack, I presented this morning, and got back to work about 12:45. This weekend was not too bad. Hollie had a Mary Kay Career Conference that went great. She is very excited about it, and has decided to persue Mary Kay as a full-time career in the future! I stayed down town with her Friday night, and got up early in the morning Sat. in order to drive home, workout, and do some lawn work. I drove home (took about an hour and fifteen minutes), and then realized I didn't have a key. So, very angrily, I drove an hour and fifteen minutes back to Dallas (stopping to get my oil changed on the way) to get the stupid key. I then stopped and had 2 more copies of the key made to avoid this in the future. So, my Saturday was cut short. I did workout, and played some PS2, but the lawn is on hold till this weekend. We had some friends come out Saturday night. We cooked out, and stayed up half the night talking. We slept though church on Sunday (oops), then had brunch with Randy and Shelley from church, then went to small group at lunch.                                            My toe is feeling better. Still looks rather nasty, but is in a shoe today for the first time. I just can't wait until the other one looks the same way in 2 weeks! I hope to begin doing cardio in my workouts possibly late this week. I added some harder reps to my workout this morning, to help me lose weight a little faster. We will see how that goes. Other than that, nothing too exciting going on in our lives. The 'Horns are still in the tournament, so that is great. Hollie is leading our group bracket pool (but only because I made her pics for her), and I am tied for 2nd.                Oh well, my lunch is about over, so I am off to get some work done. I hope to get some pictures up later this week, so keep checking the sight. The weather in Dallas is warming up; not too much longer till they open the pool! Have a good week, see you next Monday.

3-17-04: I have decided to update this weekly with any news, or anything interesting that is going on in our lives. I originally wanted to do this daily, but even I would get bored with that. So, I think I will attempt to update this probably every Monday morning, just for the heck of it. Anyway, there isn't a whole lot going on in our lives right now. I had surgery to remove ingrown toe nails last Friday, and right now it feels like someone hit my toe with a hammer. I am walking a little better, and hopefully with be back in the life of a "shoed" person by this weekend. Some of our friends gave us Stars tickets last night, so that was a lot of fun (even though the Stars blew it!). So, a big thanks to Jon and Stephanie Wood for the tickets. They are good people! My (Stephen) parents are coming in town tomorrow, and miraculously enough, we have kept the house pretty clean. Hollie has a Mary Kay conference this weekend in Dallas, so we will go stay downtown Friday night. My friend Eric is in town on business, so while Hollie does that, we will probably go catch the NCAA tournament somewhere on TV. That is about all that is going on with us. Catch ya Monday morning.
