Here's what's going on in our lives (if you care): |

June 2005

| 6-27-05:
Good morning. Hope everyone’s Monday is going better than mine. It is a very
frustrating day so far. It started out this weekend, when my car’s check
engine light came on (3,000 miles after the warrantee went out), and we are
having trouble getting the dealer to fix it any time in the near future.
Next, our air-conditioner is having problems, so we have a repair man
scheduled this afternoon. Finally, this morning, Hollie went out to find
that the Lexus had been hit with a bb-gun last night. So, it is now in the
shop, which leaves us with one car that has something wrong with it. But, we
hopefully we be bailed out soon. Wayne and Penny are trying to get one of
their cars to us, so I am sure everything will work out fine. I hate to
gripe, so enough about that. Friday night, we hung out with Mike and Katie.
Saturday night, we stayed in Plano at a hotel. We won a free night there
last year, and it expired this weekend, so we went ahead and used it.
Yesterday, we went to church, then the grocery store, then came home and
relaxed. Not too exciting. This weekend, we have a lot of family coming in
for the 4th, so that should be fun. This is my last week of Summer School,
so chances are, I won’t be updating the page from home. Anyway, that means
that I probably won’t be able to update the website until the 2nd week in
August. So, until then, have a good summer. When I get back, I will update
the site with pictures from this weekend, as well as pictures from our trip
to Vegas. See you later! 06-20-05:
Good morning. Hope everyone had a good week. Ours was really busy. Last
week, we had dinner with all of our friends on Wednesday night at BD’s for
my b-day.
Picture from that are HERE.
Friday night, I went to a work party. Hollie’s brother Brad and his family
came into town that night. Saturday, we went to the pool with them, and had
a blast. Those
pictures are HERE. That afternoon, Hollie
had me a surprise b-day party planned, but she blew the surprise earlier in
the week, so I knew about it. It was a lot of fun though. Yesterday, we
drove to Hillsboro to eat with Hollie’s dad for Father’s Day. It was a buys
week, but fun. My b-day turned out to be a blast. Hollie gave me a trip to
Vegas! We leave next month. It will be awesome!! This week will probably be
busy too. We meet with a realtor tomorrow night about our house. Anyway,
don’t forget to check out the pics from the last week. See you later.
6-13-05: Good morning.
I hope everyone is having a good Monday. Our weekend was really busy. Friday
night, I went to play poker with some guys from church, and Hollie went to
the movie with friends. Saturday, I got up, worked out, mowed the lawn while
Hollie cleaned the house, then Hollie and I went to Mike and Katie’s. We
then all went to a couple from church’s house to welcome back some
missionaries that have been in Africa. That night, we just went to Mike and
Katie’s and hung out until late. Sunday morning, we got up, went to church,
then Mike and I played video games all afternoon while Hollie and Katie went
to a shower. Not too much going on this week. I have a conference tomorrow
and Wednesday. Wednesday night, we are going out to eat with our small group
for my birthday. Other than that, not too much else happening. Have a good
week. 6-07-05: Good morning. Sorry this took me an extra day to update. Anyway, I have started Summer School. As always, things are very slow and boring the first week. The last 2 weeks have been good. I had a great time in El Paso with Sean and Josh, and Hollie had a nice time with her family in Waco over the long weekend. Last week, I had jury duty 2 days, but didn’t have to sit on a case. Saturday night, we had small group over to swim and cookout. We had a lot of fun. Hollie and I have also been throwing around the idea of putting our house for sale. We would both like to live closer to work if possible. We love our house, so if it doesn’t sell, that’s ok too. We have been looking around in the Plano area for houses, but we won’t buy a house until long after ours sells (if it ever does). Anyway, that is about all that is going on with us. See you next week.
