Here's what's going on in our lives (if you care):

June 2004

06-28-04: Good morning. Happy Monday to everyone. Nothing too eventful has happened since last Monday. Last week Lisa left Tuesday, and we pretty much just worked, came home, and went to sleep for the rest of the week. This weekend was also not too exciting. Friday night, we went to downtown Fort Worth with Destin, Tim, and Jenny. We had dinner, and spent the night at Destin's. Saturday we went home, cleaned the house, I mowed the lawn, then we went into Frisco where I looked at some new golf clubs, and Hollie bought a bike (we are going to start riding). I will buy my new clubs probably later this week, so I can celebrate my Summer vacation playing golf ASAP. Anyway, we came home from Frisco, watched Mystic River (which wasn't that great), and folded laundry. Sunday, we went to church, came home, folded more laundry, watched the rest of the movie, watched Texas lose the College World Series, and then just hung out. Like I said, not too exciting. Anyway, my family is coming into town this weekend, which will be fun, so we are ready for that. Other than that, there isn't too much new with us. Oh well, see you next week. Have a good 4th of July.

06-21-04: Hello everyone. Another wonderful Monday. I am still in Summer School, which is dragging by. Last week wasn't too exciting. We had our first church basketball game Tuesday, which we won. My b-day was not too exciting, nothing really happened. My sister came into town Thursday night, so we hung out with her some this weekend. We also went to a wedding Friday night, then to dinner with Amy, Brett, and Hollie's mom for my b-day. Saturday we helped a friend move, which didn't take long, then went over to a couple from church's house for dinner to discuss our small groups for next year. Yesterday we went to church, came home and ate, then hung out at the house for the rest of the day. It was pretty relaxing. This morning came too soon, we weren't ready for Monday. Lisa leaves tomorrow, so we will probably hang out at the house with her tonight. That is about it, see you next week.

6-14-04: Good morning. Hope everyone is doing well. There isn't too much going on today. My birthday is tomorrow, but that isn't too exciting, since I will be working all day. I do have a basketball game tomorrow night, which is going to be fun. We will probably go out to dinner later this week, but that is it as far as my b-day goes. Summer school is going well, I had training Thursday and Friday of last week, so I only worked 3 days. This weekend went fast. Saturday, I got up and mowed the lawn. We went to the pool, then I went to the IRL race at Texas Motor Speedway that night, which was very cool. Sunday, we went to church, then helped Amy and Brett move all day. That is about it, not too exciting. I will see ya'll next week.

6-7-04: Hello everyone. Happy Monday morning. I am starting Summer School today, so there isn’t a lot going on. We went on vacation of course, and had an AWESOME time!! I posted the pics here. There isn’t a lot else new, so for those of you who care, I kinda summarized our trip below:

Sunday: we left DFW at 7:30 and got to Hilton Head around 3 in our rented mini-van. We found our condo, and it was disgusting! It had food stains everywhere, and was just nasty. We asked for a new one, and got it the next day. We went to the beach Sunday afternoon, then to eat, to the Tiki Hut, and then hung out on our balcony.

Monday: We got up, went to breakfast at Stacks, then got the keys to our new condo, which was awesome. It was 2 story, and had an awesome 3rd floor balcony. While we waited on it to be cleaned, we went to the beach and pool for a few hours. After we moved into the new place, we went down to the Salty Dog and had dinner and hung out there.

Tuesday: The guys got up, ate breakfast that Hollie made, and went golfing at the Rose Hill Golf club after it stopped raining. We then came back and joined the girls on the beach. Later that evening, we went to Catch 22, where we stuffed ourselves on all-you-can-eat crab legs. We then went back, as usual, and hung out on the balcony, and played games.

Wednesday: We got up, the girls (and Mike B.) cooked breakfast, and went to Coligny Plaza to shop and walk around. We then came back and went to the beach again. After that, we all loaded up and went to the Sea pines resort at Harbor town, went in the light house, and walked around the golf course area. We then went back to Salty Dog for dinner, and hung there for a while before going back, yet again, to our balcony.

Thursday: got up and went home.

Anyway, that was our trip, we had a great time. See ya’ll next week.
