Here's what's going on in our lives (if you care): |

January 2005
|
| 1-31-05:
Good morning to everyone. Hope your weekends went well. Our past week has
been very uneventful. Last week, we just worked of course. Friday night, we
had small groups at Mike and Katie’s house. After that, we went home and
crashed. Saturday morning, Hollie went out shopping for the day, and I took
our cat to the vet. After that, I just sat around and did some laundry, then
went to play poker. The poker gods were not kind to me, so I was done early.
I went to the grocery store, then home, and passed out on the couch watching
a movie. Sunday, we went to church, went to breakfast with Randy and
Shelley, then went over to Brett and Amy’s to finally exchange Christmas
gifts. We then went home, and did nothing for the rest of the day. Hope your
weekend was more exciting! See ya’ll next week. 1-24-05: Good
morning everyone. Hope everyone had a good weekend. Ours was busy. Friday
night we left right after work to go be sponsors on our church’s purity
retreat, which meant 2 days of High School kids. It actually wasn’t bad at
all. We got to see our friend’s Wes and Becca, so it turned out ok.
Yesterday after church, we went to the grocery store, then came home and
cleaned for our small group that was coming over last night. We hung out
with them for a while, then watched TV, and went to bed. Not too terribly
exciting. This coming weekend will be nice, ‘cause we have nothing at all to
do! I have a follow up visit with the Dr. Friday about my toes, and then I
am going to lay around all weekend and do nothing. That is about all the
news I have. Sorry it wasn’t more exciting. Have a good week! 1-18-05: Happy Tuesday
to everyone. Since I had off yesterday, I am just now updating the site.
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was spent just lying around. I had my
toes “operated” on again Friday, hopefully this will be the LAST TIME!! It
didn’t hurt as bad this time, so hopefully I will be back in shoes again by
the end of the week, but who knows. Anyway, on to the weekend. Friday,
Hollie picked me up from the doctor, then we went home and had small group
at our house. They left, and Hollie and I continued our recent trend of
falling asleep in the living room while watching TV, and sleeping through
the night. I guess we are becoming old. We used to be able to stay up late,
and watch movies all night, but lately, after 10:00, we are goners. So, the
couch and chair in our game room have become our weekend beds lately.
Anyway, we woke up Saturday, and Hollie went to yoga at the clubhouse, which
she loved. I sat around and did nothing. She came back, and we continued to
do nothing most of the day. She had to help me take the dressing off my
toes, because I am a pansy, and got really nauseas. Saturday night, we went
over to Mike and Shayla’s house (another couple in Providence), and watched
football and played games. Sunday, the feeling slowly crept back into my
toes, but that didn’t stop be from being lazy, and laying on the couch again
all day watching football. Yesterday, Hollie went to work, and I stayed
home, laying around yet another day. I did venture out to the grocery store
around 2, which was a long excursion, due to my limited mobility. However, I
am back at work today, moving around fairly well. That’s about it, see you
all next week. 1-10-05: Good
morning, and Happy Monday to everyone! Hope you had a good weekend. Ours was
pretty good. We had dinner and watched a movie with our neighbors Friday
night. We went to Waco Saturday to see the UT girls play Baylor. We lost,
but it was a good game. Saturday night, we came home, and just hung out.
Sunday, we came home after church and I took down all the Christmas lights
off of the house. Then, we slept most of the afternoon. I have finally
finished revamping the picture pages of the site. Hopefully you will find it
much more user friendly, and much better. I have added a ton of pics,
so go through and take a look!
I think I forgot to say last week that we booked a trip to Jamaica!! We are
going back to
Sandals Ocho Rios,
the same place we went on our honeymoon! We are so excited. We will go in
March. Other than that, nothing too new going on. Take a look around the new
pics pages and email me at
stephen@stephenandhollie.com if you find
any mistakes, or if you have any pics you want on there! See you next week! 1-3-05: Happy 2005 everyone!! Hope everyone had a great Holiday! Ours was pretty good! We went to Waco for Christmas, and spent it with Hollie’s family. We drove down Thursday afternoon in the snow. We hung out Thursday night and watched movies. Friday we went into Rosebud to see Hollie’s grandma, then came home and opened presents. Christmas day Santa came, and we ate till we popped, then just sat around and relaxed. The Christmas pics are HERE. We came home Monday, and stayed up 48 hours taking down Christmas decorations. Wednesday was Hollie’s 25th birthday. She went to work, then we went to the movies, to dinner, then to Mike and Katie’s for a while. It was a lot of fun just to hang out with her most of the night. We had New Year’s Eve at our house. Not too crazy. Amy and Brett, and Summer and Cory came over. We celebrated Hollie’s B-day and then just played games and had a good time. Those pics are HERE. We both started our new fitness program today, which is kind of exciting. I am ready to lose some more weight. I have gained a lot of the weight back that I lost last year, so it will be nice to start working out again. On to the website: I have made some major changes to the way the pics pages are designed. I feel it is a major improvement!! It is actually like a real webpage for once. I didn’t take the time to go back and do all of our old pictures the new way, so I will leave those as-is. For the new ones, I just put one picture on the page, and you click on it to see the rest of the pics for that event. Go HERE to see what I am talking about. Oh well, enjoy the pics. Have a great week. See you next Monday.
