Here's what's going on in our lives (if you care):

February 2005

2-21-05: Good morning. I hope everyone’s Monday morning is going well. Our past week has been pretty uneventful. Last Monday was of course Valentine’s day, so we went out to dinner at the Elephant Bar, then went home and crashed (still tired from last weekend). The week went well, our Providence dodge ball team is improving a great deal, and we won both of our games Wed. night. Friday night we went to dinner with our small group from church, then to Starbucks with Amy and Brett. Saturday, we went back to Allen, helped Randy and Shelley move some new furniture in to their house, then went and watched a movie with Amy and Brett. Yesterday, I taught the high school class at church. We then went to have breakfast with the Bush and Napier families, then went home, worked out, then went to dinner with our neighbors. After that, we watched TV and hit the sack. It was a nice weekend. My parents are coming into town this weekend, so we are cleaning the house and getting ready to spend some time with them. Other than that, nothing else too exciting happening. See you all next Monday.  
 

2-14-05: Happy Valentine’s Day everyone. Hope you all had a good weekend. Ours was very short. We spent most of the weekend in the car. It was Hollie’s aunt and uncle’s 50th anniversary this weekend, and they had a party in Odessa. Since we waited too long to book airfare, we had to drive. We left home about 7:00 Friday night, and about 30 minutes into the drive, we decided we were too tired to go the whole way, so we stopped at a not-so-clean motel in Abilene on the way. We got up early Saturday morning, and drove the rest of the way. We got there around lunch, went to the party, to dinner afterwards with the family, then to bed. We were back on the road again by 10:00 the next morning. It was a short trip, but nice to see that side of the family that we don’t see too often. Since it is Valentine’s Day, we decided to go out tonight and fight the crowds. We will probably go to the Elephant Bar to eat, and then just go home. Anyway, that is about all. 2-7-05: Good morning. Hope everyone had a good weekend. Ours wasn’t too bad. Friday night, we worked out, then sat and watched TV. Saturday, we got up, cleaned the house all day, then went to the grocery store. Yesterday after church, we came home, then had a Super Bowl party for our small group last night. It was fun, and the Eagles lost, so that was great. Nothing else too exciting. Hollie got a promotion last week, which is good! She is excited about that. We are just looking forward to spring break and our trip to Jamaica!! Oh well, only 6 more weeks! See you next Monday.
