2-26-07 James 1:2 (The Message)Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don't try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way. God, please let our faith be strong during hard times. Let us lean on you whenever something hard comes a long, and let us have faith that you are in control.
2-19-07 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. God, help us to show the love you have for us to everyone we come into contact with.
2-12-07: Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Please help us to love the way you do. Help us to treat others in a way that they will know we are Christians.
2-5-07: 1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about what happens to you. God, thank you for assuring us that we have nothing to worry about. Please let us be better about giving all of our problems to you and not worrying about anything.
