Here's what's going on in our lives (if you care):

August 2005

 
8-29-05: Hello. Monday came too soon this week, and I have felt tired all day. I hope everyone’s weekend went well. Ours was fast, but good. Friday we had small group at our house. Saturday, Hollie went to a baby shower while I played video games all day. That night, we had some friends from church over. We were gonna cook out, but the propane tank I had just bought didn’t work, so we ended up grilling burgers on the stove. Our house still smells a little like beef. Anyway, we played games the rest of the night. We went to church yesterday morning, then had lunch with Penny. We spent the afternoon watching movies on the couch, all but the 30 minutes it took me to go exchange the broken propane tank. This weekend is our annual trip to the Guadalupe with a group from college. It should be fun, even though we both hate to camp. We will have pictures posted next week sometime. This also marks the beginning for TEXAS FOOTBALL!!! Hollie is really excited about that! Oh well, see you all next Tuesday (we will be gone through Monday). Have a good Labor Day.
 

8-22-05: Hello. Hope everyone’s Monday is going well. We had a great weekend, and are now back at work. Friday, we drove down to Stamford to see our friends Wes and Becca. We stayed there all weekend, played a lot of games, and had a great time. It was nice to see them, and very relaxing to just lie around and do nothing. Originally, we had planned to go to New Orleans this weekend to meet up with Amy and Brett, but decided not to. So, we actually have a weekend coming up with nothing really to do, which is going to be great. Not too much else going on right now. I am back on the ol’ diet, seeing how much I can lose before the holidays roll around. Hope everyone is doing well, see you next week.
 

8-15-05: Good morning. It has been a while since my last update, and a lot has happened. I don’t really want to detail the events of the last 6 weeks, so I will sum it up. July 4th was great. We had a lot of family over, and some friends. The pics for the 4th are HERE. The next weekend, we flew to Lubbock for Anthony and Pieper’s wedding reception. We spent a lot of time over and our friends Jessica and Dean’s house, mostly to see their new baby (well, not that new, but we hadn’t seen her yet). Those pics are HERE. Finally, we went to Vegas last week, which was AWESOME!! We had so much fun there, and can’t wait to go back. Those pics are HERE. I started work again last week, and the kids start today, so it is pretty crazy here. Hollie’s job is still going well. We put our house on the market, and have had a few showings, but nothing to really get excited about. Other than that, life is pretty much going along as normal.
