8-30-04: Good morning. I hope everyone had a
great week. Ours went by pretty quick. Last week was pretty boring, just
worked. This weekend, Hollie went to the “Women of Faith” conference in
Dallas. I stayed home, went to my fantasy football draft Saturday afternoon,
then out to watch some football that night. Yesterday, Hollie was in Cisco
for her aunt’s birthday. I went to the Ranger game with some friends. We are
really excited about this weekend. We are taking our annual camping trip to
the
Guadalupe River.
Hollie and I both hate camping, but love floating down the river. This year,
there are 20 people going in all, most of which are from LCU, so it will be
a lot of fun as long as it doesn’t rain again. If it does, I am afraid that
we will be roughing it at the Days Inn. Hope to have pictures up too. Sorry
there are no pics from last week’s visit to the coast. Since we never went
to the actual beach, the pics weren’t too exciting, so I didn’t want to
waste space with them. Next week’s will definitely be better. Since it is a
holiday next Monday, don’t expect the update until at least Tuesday. Anyway,

Hello. Happy Monday to everyone. There isn’t much new going on this
week. We went to Palacios with Amy, Brett, Randy, and Shelley this weekend.
It was a really short trip, and we are really tired today, but it was fun.
We played some golf, saw an alligator, ate a lot, and just relaxed. I wish
we could have gone for another day or two. Since there is a bacteria in the
gulf, we didn’t go down to the beach, so I didn’t take very many pictures,
but what I do have will be up on the site later this week I hope. This
weekend Hollie is going to Women of Faith with her mom. I have my fantasy
football draft all day Saturday, they I am sure I will find something to do
with the rest of my weekend. Other than that, we are just going to try to
get the house clean this week. That’s about it, I will see you later. 8-17-04: Hello
everyone. Happy Tuesday morning. It was a busy day yesterday at work since
it was the kid's first day back, so I didn't have a chance to get to the
update. Things have been pretty hectic at work. We had a nice weekend;
Hollie went to Mckinney Trade Days Saturday, and I went to a work party.
Sunday we went to church, lunch, then slept all afternoon before church
Sunday night, it was nice. We both started working out again yesterday
morning (I took last week off for school), and so it is hard to get used to
the early mornings after having the Summer off. We are planning on going to
the coast this weekend with some people from our new small group at church.
Hopefully I will have some pics up next Monday or so. Oh well, that's about
all that is going on in our lives. Hope everyone is doing well, have a great
week. 8-11-04: Good morning. I am finally back to work, and plan on picking up the weekly updates again. Sorry there was so much time off. Anyway, work is going well for both of us. Lisa was in town this weekend, but is leaving today. Things weren't too exciting through the last part of the summer. Amy and Brett got married, which was a lot of fun. We haven't won any more basketball games, what a shock. They house it good. Other than that, not anything out of the ordinary. Oh well, hopefully next week's update will be a little more interesting.
