About us . . .

Our names are Stephen and Hollie. We currently live in Allen, TX (about 25 minutes north of Dallas) with our sons Hobs and Penn, our idiot dog named Kevin, and our worthless cat named Phyllis.

We met in college, at Lubbock Christian University in 1998. We dated for about 3 years, and got married on December 15th, 2001 in Waco, TX. I (Stephen) actually moved to the DFW area in May of 2001 to begin graduate school at the University of Texas at Arlington. Hollie moved up that December when we got hitched.

We moved to Allen 6 months after we got married, and started going to church at Greenville Oaks Church of Christ in Allen. After a little over a year there, we decided to move out of the city more, and built a house in Providence. Recently, we got tired of living out of the city, so we bought a house back in Allen, which is where we are now.

We both have Bachelor's of Social Work degrees from LCU.  I (Stephen) have a Masters of Social Work degree from UTA, and am currently working toward my Ph.D. as well. Currently, I work as a Behavior Specialist for 2 elementary schools in Carrollton, TX. Hollie teaches pre-k at North Texas Christian Academy 3 days a week, and stays at home with Hobs the other 2.
